Customer Service Staff
Hawk Racing is a fast growing business located in Bradenton, FL and for our Customer Service Center, we need a part time staff member to help with the daily work load.
Description: Answering phone calls and emails from clients in regards of our products. Processing of online shop, email and phone orders including but not limited to processing payment, making a quick books invoice and forwarding the order to the shipping department for processing.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years experience working with Quick Books
- Prefered background in accounting (not a must)
- Holder of a FL driving license
- Must have an understanding of bicycle parts and understanding of the different types of products we sell.
- Must have sound computer skills with Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer, Excel and must be able to do our bi-weekly Newsletter using Constant Contact.
- Must have good communication skills (written and verbal) to help clients with orders and question in regards to our products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and emails from clients.
- Taking orders via phone, email or online shopping card and processing them via Quick Books and authorized.net
- Keeping Quick Books company data base up-to-date
- Forwarding orders to our warehouse to process the order
- Possibility of dropping orders at the local post office when leaving the office for late shipments or rush orders.
- Processing ever 2 weeks our client and dealer Newsletter.
- Helping with keeping our websites up-to-date (no programming skills needed, but general computer skills are nesseccary)
We would prefer a female for this job and this possition is flexible in hours and suitable for young parents with children who are in kindergarden or school for just a few hours a day.
The right potential candidate need to have knowledge of bicycle parts. Not how to fix them, but understanding the difference between a Bottom Bracket and a seat post.

Wheel Builder - Bradenton FL
Description: Establish the Service Center as the benchmark for wheel building and service. Assist in the management of work orders and work load with Customer Service and service and build Hawk Racing and Folmer BMX wheels and hubs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree prefered
- 3-5 years experience specific to the service and building of wheels and hubs, prefered in a service center environment.
- Experience in carbon wheel building
- Quality assurance background helpful.
- Must have in-depth understanding of wheels and hub products with ability to assemble, disassemble, troubleshoot and diagnose components.
- High level of mechanical ability
- Must have good communication skills (written and verbal), interpersonal skills and organization skills.
- Must have sound computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Service Hawk Racing's proprietary line of wheels and build them in our Bradenton, FL location.
- Help create and accomplish goals within the Service Center.
- Help and create user and service manuals for current and new Hawk Racing products.
- Help and create documentation that would assist our global partners in their ability to support and service our wheel and hub line.
- Establish methods and procedures that will improve quality and turn around times for our wheel service.
- Organize and manager the day to day work load involving wheel building and service.
- Will be responsible for disassembly, diagnosing of faults, and reassembly of returned products.
- Will manage incoming work orders and process work in a satisfactory time frame, insuring good customer relations and brand loyality.
- Recrod and maintain statisctical information related to type of problems founds, frequency of problems and resulting solutions.
- Communicate problems and issues when found to the owner and Customer Service Manager to promote improvements in product design and contunued product success.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and tools neede for wheel service.
- Help facilitate succefful interface between Customer Service and our Service Center.
- Educate Customer Service Representatives regarding our wheel technology, increasing their knowledge base on how our technology is different from other brands.
